SXG

Get started

Welcome

SXG lets you keep your SOL and run a real GPU on its staking yield. You deposit SOL into your own vault on Solana, it is staked, and only what it earns is spent on GPU time. The SOL you put in stays yours and comes back whenever you ask.

Get started

Your first GPU

You need a Solana wallet (Phantom or Solflare) and some SOL. Nothing else. There is no account to create.

  1. Connect your wallet

Press Connect wallet at the top right and choose Phantom or Solflare.

  2. Sign in

Your wallet asks you to sign a short message. This proves the wallet is yours. It sends nothing and costs no fee.

  3. Open your vault

Press Your vault. If this is your first time, the vault is created with your first deposit.

  4. Deposit SOL

Enter an amount and press Deposit. Your wallet shows the transaction before you approve it. The SOL is staked in the same step.

  5. Pick what to run

Choose Image studio to make images from a sentence, or Python workspace for your own code. Then choose how long.

  6. Start the GPU

Press Start GPU and approve the transaction. It sets aside enough yield for the time you picked. The GPU is usually ready in under a minute, and the wait is never billed.

  7. Stop when you are done

Press Stop and pay for time used. You pay only for the seconds the GPU ran. Any set-aside yield you did not use goes back into your vault.

New vaults start with no yield

Yield arrives as Solana pays staking rewards, about every two days. Until then you can still use the free three minutes.

Wallets and sign-in

SXG works with Phantom and Solflare, as a browser extension or inside the wallet's own app browser.

Signing in is a message signature, not a transaction. It moves no funds and costs nothing. Every action that touches your SOL, a deposit, a withdrawal or starting a GPU, is a separate transaction that your wallet shows you in full before you approve it.

Your SOL

Your vault

Every wallet gets its own vault on Solana. It is an account created by the SXG program for your address and nobody else's.

  • Only your wallet can deposit to it, withdraw from it, start a GPU from it or close it.
  • The SOL you deposit is recorded as your deposit. It can never be spent on a GPU.
  • What the stake earns above your deposit is your yield. That is the only thing a GPU session can use.

In the 3D room on the home page, every SOL kept in vaults lights the roof of one rack.

Your SOL

How yield is earned

When you deposit, your SOL is staked with the Jito stake pool in the same transaction, and your vault holds jitoSOL. jitoSOL grows in value against SOL as the network pays staking rewards, so the vault becomes worth more than your deposit over time. That difference is your yield.

Your SOL

Taking it back

You can withdraw at any second, without asking anyone.

While a GPU is running, the yield set aside for it stays in the vault until the session ends. Everything else can leave. Withdraw everything and close the vault returns all of it along with the account's rent.

What you can run

Image studio

Type what you want to see and press Create image. A fast image model runs on your GPU and draws it in a few seconds. You can also open the full ComfyUI editor. No setup and no code.

Python workspace

JupyterLab on your own GPU, behind a password made for your session. Press Open your GPU to get in. Developers can add an SSH key.

Save your work before the session ends

Each GPU is erased when its session finishes, so download anything you want to keep.

Pricing

GPUPriceLongest session
RTX 4090$1.00 an hour4 hours
  • Prices are set in dollars. When you start a GPU, the program reads the live SOL price from Pyth and fixes the cost per second for that session.
  • You approve a maximum. If the SOL price moves more than 2% before your transaction lands, it is refused instead of charging you more.
  • Billing starts when your app answers, not when the machine boots. Once ready, a session bills at least one minute.
  • If every RTX 4090 is busy, you get a similar GPU (RTX 3090, RTX A5000, L4 or A40) at the same price.

GPU time

Free three minutes

Every wallet with at least 0.1 SOL in its vault gets one free three-minute Image studio session. It is paid by SXG and never by your vault. Press Try it free. Your free time starts when the GPU is ready, and a try that never got ready does not count.

GPU time

When a GPU does not start

  • If no GPU is free, the yield you set aside is released at once.
  • If a GPU does not get ready within its startup limit (10 minutes, 15 for Image studio), it is released at no charge.
  • If a session is never settled, you can release the set-aside yield yourself after one hour with Release the set-aside SOL.

What the program enforces

These hold on chain for every vault.

  • Only the owner's signature can deposit, withdraw, start a session or close a vault.
  • A session can only use yield. Your deposit can never pay for a GPU.
  • A session sets aside its full cost up front. Settlement can take at most that amount, once, and only into the SXG treasury.
  • Each settlement names its session by number and start time, so it can never charge a different session.
  • The SOL price comes from Pyth's SOL/USD account and must be no older than ten minutes.

Questions

Can SXG spend my deposit?

No. The program only lets a session use yield, and only your signature can move what is in your vault.

How long until I can run a GPU?

Right away with the free three minutes if you keep at least 0.1 SOL in your vault. Paid time needs yield, which arrives with Solana's staking rewards about every two days.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Image studio only needs a sentence. Python workspace is there if you want it.

What happens if I close the tab?

Your GPU keeps running until you stop it or its time runs out. You only ever pay for the seconds it ran.
